APR pioneered the capability to simulate aircraft response to the measured pavement profile.  APR can simulate 15 different types of commercial aircraft ranging from the Boeing 737-800 up to the Boeing 747-400 aircraft as well as a select variety of military aircraft.  Simulations include takeoff, landing, constant speed taxi and aborted takeoff scenarios. To accurately assess the effect of the pavement’s profile, the simulations can report the aircraft’s response in both accelerations at the pilot’s station and at the aircraft’s center of gravity.  Response can also be measured by predicting the dynamic loading onto the pavement.
