Designed to measure the true profile of the pavement much like a typical topographical survey would do, the Auto Rod and Level was developed by APR to gather a rod and level quality elevation data point every foot (.25-meter). 

Designed with simplicity in mind and constructed with materials used to endure a rugged environment, the AR&L is durable without being bulky.  It can work in tough conditions without sacrificing the unit’s performance.  In use since 1994, the AR&L has measured hundreds of paved runways, compacted aggregate, unimproved strips as well as road and highway bridges. It's quick and it's accurate and it can solve your profiling needs.
